After winning promotion last season, Warmley Rangers U13s are stepping up another league. The new kit will get its first match outing in the opening game of the season.

There is always something exciting about the start of a new football season, but this one feels a bit more special for Warmley Rangers.

The club is celebrating its 50th anniversary, the U13s have a new kit and, after winning promotion last season, the team are stepping up another league. That means tougher games and a new challenge, but one the players and coaches have earned.

The green and white shirt carries the special 50th Anniversary crest and, as Max’s dad and co-owner of soVision IT, I’m proud to see our logo on the front supporting such a great local club.

More than just football

For Max and the rest of the team, the new shirt is ready for its first game. For everyone behind the scenes, it is also a reminder of the time and effort that goes into keeping grassroots football going.

Coaches, volunteers and parents give up a huge amount of time every week. Training, match days, lifts, admin and all the other jobs that people rarely see only happen because people are willing to get involved.

That is why supporting the club matters to us. It is not only about having the soVision IT name on a shirt. It is about helping a local team give young players the chance to play, improve and enjoy their football.

Ready for the step up

Winning promotion last year was a brilliant achievement. This season will bring a higher level of opposition, but that is exactly what progress should look like.

The new kit will be worn for the first time in the opening game of the season. Whatever the result, it will be good to see the team back out there, taking on the next challenge together.

Good luck to Max, the whole U13s team and everyone at Warmley Rangers for the season ahead. Here’s to a great 50th anniversary year for the club.

“Proud to support a great local club and the people who make grassroots football happen every week.”
